RIPE is a limited edition collection of essays produced during Corridor8’s first residency programme, in partnership with The Tetley in Leeds. The publication broadly responds to two exhibitions that ran concurrently between 22 July and 9 October 2016.
Polyculture, a solo show of recent work by artist Jonathan Trayte, explored food production and capitalist consumerism.
Whereas, Lovers and Romances, retrospectively looked at the censorship trial sparked by an exhibition of paintings by Stass Paraskos at the Leeds Institute in 1966.
